The worst part about this movie is that it's true. Any woman - mother could have played the part of Anglenia Jolie. I didn't find her acting particularly "out there", "an oscar" winner", in fact a lesser name actress would have been better, my husband said the same thing. The movie is very disturbing, I guess because children are such victims of a monster, many times I found myself crying due to the treatment; obviously the directing was superb because as a parent you put yourself in the mother's shoes so many times. Another sad note is that corruption of the same nature continue to take place today. I would recommend this movie but know that you will walk out quite somber and sad, this is no "pick me up" movie. Words are hard to describe this other then disturbing yet credible.
Pros: The truth came out in the end.
Cons: To know that children of decades - even centuries were horribly treated.
