One of the first places we think of when we think of sushi. Simple but cool interior. Friendly service. My one and consistent complaint is the rice with the nigiri is cool and too dried out. The fish is always good though.
Pros: Service, prices, environment
Cons: Dried out and cold rice with nigiri

Fresh fish! After trying many sushi restaurants around the valley I always find myself back at Oh sushi(go sushi). I know I will always have the freshest fish....yes there may be a wait, BUT well worth your time. The specials are so creative-you won't taste or see anything like their combinations in the valley. The environment is positive and intimate, but not the place to spend a quiet romantic evening.
Pros: freshest fish and friendly atmosphere.
Cons: servers aren' consistant and parking.

Do not go to this sushi restaurant. I’ve lived in the area for 6 months and had frequented Go Sushi many times. My girlfriend and I got take out from there the other night. When we got the sushi home my girlfriend noticed a hair in her shrimp tempura roll. She tried to pull it out, however, she stopped pulling after 10 inches of hair came out and it was still in the sushi. I called the restaurant twice and offered to bring the sushi in with the hair in it they told me not to. Despite my efforts I was given the run around both times that the owner or manager would call me back. They never did. So despite paying $40 dollars for sushi we didn’t' eat, they weren’t even courteous enough to call me back to tell me they weren't going to do anything about it. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT EAT HERE

This is another place I hesitate telling people about because it is soooo amazing but small. So, the more people I tell it's over....I won't be able to get a seat. They are very creative here and the sushi is delicious!!
Pros: Creative recipes/rolls etc.
Cons: small ...not enough seating to make millions on their great food! ha

The sushi is pretty good here....average but not outstanding. Have a good variety of rolls but the atmosphere is LACKING....and service can be subpar. I have been here 3x to really form a solid opinion and everytime I walk away thinking - just not as good as I hoped it was. The rolls lack presentation that most places with these prices offer and also minimal atmosphere. If you are craving sushi and want something fairly quick for lunch and happen to be in the area - I would try it but not a destination to plan to go to for dinner. There are too many other places with better sushi and atmosphere at similar pricing to spend a dinner here.
Pros: one of the few locations in this part of town
Cons: lacking atmosphere and pricing a little high for what you get

We read all the Sushi reviews and decided on this one. The sushi was wonderful and the prices were in line with what I'm used to paying....about $6 or $7 per roll. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the atmosphere is that of a dive. It wasnt dirty, just had an "old bar" feel to it. Others will like it, though, because of the unassuming atmosphere. The waitress was attentive. No negatives there. I will undoubtedly choose Go Sushi over the other ones I've tried in the area, just for the fact that the sushi was great and the prices were reasonable. The other sushi places I've tried in the area were about $14.99 per roll!!!
Pros: Excellent taste and prices
Cons: ambience

I used to be a regular and loved this resteraunt. As they became more popular and well known, the service became awful! The servers try to work as little as possible and hang out with their buddies (who are always in eating for free). There is one gentleman in specific who is unbelievably rude. He has ignored our table multiple times even after the chef points out that we have not been helped to the point that the chef has to try to help us. They speak about numerous things that are compleatly unprofessional. I would not say that it is kid freindly unless you would like to hear about what kind of mary jane is available in salt lake during different parts of the year, and this being thirty minutes after you asked for a soda and still don't have it. The udon soup used to be delicious but they switched noodles( i'm sure to cut cosrs) and it take sat least fifteen minutes to get, consistantly. In my opinnion, Go sushi is the unfortunate story of a company that grew too fast and did not have peole in charge who had any experience in the industry. I watched Go blossom and now they have come full circle to their withering status now. No thanks!

I first tried sushi nearly three years ago, when I moved to Salt Lake City. There are so many sushi restaurants, that my wife and I started trying many of them in the area. I'm certainly hooked on sushi and I'm now hooked on Go Sushi. My wife and I had lunch at Go Sushi today and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. The fish was obviously fresh. The owner of the establishment was behind the counter and made a couple of the rolls we ordered. The service was very good. My soft drink was re-filled twice before it was half-empty and once when I wasn't even aware the waitress had re-filled it. If you like somewhat adventurous sushi, Go Sushi is the place for you. They aren't a "traditional" sushi restaurant, they don't claim to be "traditional" and they don't apologize for their approach. The building is nothing to look at (inside or out). But it is clean and the food is outstanding, so who cares what the building looks like? I would highly recommend Go Sushi ... Go!
Pros: Food, Service
Cons: Parking

We drove by this place many times, and finally decided to try it. Now we wonder why we waited so long. The food is as good as Happy Sumo (our previous favorite) but without the mall crowds, and the prices are much better (and you don't have to pay for parking). The service is very freindly, though at times it is a bit slow but well worth the wait. If you like sushi you must try this place.
Pros: awesome food, friendly people
Cons: service is a little slow, but food is worth it. Great for take out
