While the patio is very nice, that is about it. I have tried the restaurant serveral times (hoping it would improve) but have never been impressed with anything except the patio! The food and service is VERY inconsistent! I have had good and terrible servers (who no nothing about the the food or wine they are serving!) If you can catch the restaurant on a slow night the food is ok, (but always over priced) and you could probably get a better meal at the Olive Garden than you could on a busy night at Caffe Molise. If you don't care, and no nothing about food the patio is very pretty and you might enjoy yourself, however if not, steer clear.
Pros: patio
Cons: everything else

I can't relate to the negative reviews on this place. I have never have a bad meal here. I have been coming for more than five years. Parking can be tricky if you demand close and free- if you are a little more reasonable then you will plan accordingly to avoid disappointment. Come on, it's the city! Take trax! We love the specials and also the gnochi. But the Sunday Brunches are to die for! I am scared to mention it because it feels like our little secret and we never have to wait to get in Sunday morning. Eggs benedict, proper breakfast sandwiches, and mimosas!

Came so highly recommended to me, a foodie, and I remember looking at my "Power of Intention" cards today reminding me to give love, although all people may not deserve it... I entered with a warm open heart, and was sourly disappointed, from moment 1. Highlights: wiated nearly 10 min for uninterested waitor, borishly recited specials...about 15 min of empty glass of wine. Had to ask other server for another glass. Weak overly oily salad, And bland entree!! Bruschetta-best part of night. Complete waste my money when all I expected was some life out of the waistaff and the food. Save your money and go to Trio.
Pros: Bruschetta, Good Jazz on Friday nights
Cons: bored servers, don't care. Food was poor, bland, could've gotten better food at Olive Garden

The outdoor patio doesnt get any better. Our waiter was horrible. The only time we saw him is when took our orders and brought us our bill. He didnt even tell us his name! He forgot my husbands drink order and passed a few times without asking if we needed anything. The food was good, but nothing special. The salad was anything but tasty. For the price, I expected a lot more, especially from the wait staff. We wont be returning.
Pros: outdoor patio
Cons: service, over cooked food

Molise's food has to be some of the best in this state. I have eaten there on several occasions but few could compare to the Sunday night we shared a few weeks ago. Service was above average and the food was supreme! From the other reviews I have read, it seems like the right night is the biggest part of dining there. My friends and I will definately return. I am a chef in this valley and would have to say that they keep us running for the money. Try it out, I know I'll be back.
Pros: Open on Sunday nights, a rarity in this valley!
Cons: None for me.

We had a wonderful experience at Caffe Molise. Brunch on Sunday is awesome. We were greeted promptly and everyone was very friendly. Our food was mouth-watering. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. Food was excellent, service was wonderful and the atmosphere is beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone.
Pros: Excellent Food, Beautiful Decor, Pleasant Staff, Brunch is not to Miss!

This was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had and we will never go back. We waited one and half hours for our entrees becuase the kitchen could not handle a full restaurant. The food was bland and undercooked, like it was rushed out of the kitchen. We had a similiar experience 3 years and had not been back and thought tonight would be different, but nothing has changed. The service and food were terrible and I would not recommend this restaraunt TO ANYONE, especially if you want to recieve your meal in a decent amount of time. Starter salads took an hour to come out of the kitchen which was ridiculous since all is was was too much vinegar, lettuce and cheese and nothing else. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS A DECENT MEAL IN A REASONABLE TIME. If the kitchen can't handle a full restaraunt then they should close or limit the number of people.
Pros: NONE
Cons: THE ENTIRE DINING EXPERIENCE

I had never heard of this restaurant (or even seen it when I pass by every month) but I was told I should visit. And I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is small (seats maybe 100-150 people??) and cozy. The waiters were very prompt and helpful. The food tasted 10x better than any Americanized Italian restaurant. The price was just right for a good value.
Pros: Great food, waiters helpful, good ambience
Cons: Parking difficult to find but there is a parking lot just down the street

The food here is from the Molise region of Italy. They are not serving Americanized Italian food as many of the other main stream restaurants are. The chefs do a great job of keeping the food authentic. I have been bringing out of town guests to this local treasure for years and we are never disappointed. I suggest showing up a little early on the weekends to take advantage of the live music at night . Take your time, order some wine, enjoy the flavors of the food and the fun atmosphere, our experiences here usually last 2 hours or more. Do not be afraid to ask about a item on the menu before ordering, I have had the chefs gladly come out and personally explain menu items, which is a perfect touch to our dining experience here. In the summer dine outside, it is perfect for a romantic date. My thanks to the staff.
Pros: Local, Downtown, live music on weekends
Cons: Food is too good!

While well regarded, I found the restaurant unpredictable in its execution. Appetizers have all been good, though they aren't geared for mainstream american tastes. Pasta is properly cooked, a sad rarity in italian food in America. I though the suaces tended to be bland, so pair them up with something exciting. Portions are adequate, but skimpy by modern standards. I'd score that as a problem for overwieght diners, not Cafe Molise.
Pros: Attention to detail
Cons: Still not reliably good
