Sushi Express is right near my house in Sandy. It is hands down the best sushi I have ever had in Utah or in California. Its nearly impossible to find good seaweed but Sushi Express does it best!! It's way better than Mikado and if you are unfamiliar with how to eat sushi or what to get the friendly staff and chef will be more than happy to teach you everything you need to know! The best part is, it's reasonably priced you can get sushi anytime you want. Sushi Express is in it for the service not nessecarily the money.

Pros: Best Sushi in Utah

Cons: no beer

Easily the best little sushi place in town. It's not fancy like Ichiban but the owner is legendary, the sushi is always flawless and the folks are really nice too. On top of that, the prices are best in town so you can order MORE! It's in a little strip mall, doesn't serve beer or wine and is not cozy but it is bright and clean. I've been sending friends there for years and it gets 100% happy feedback.

Pros: Fresh and perfectly prepared sushi

Cons: No beer. The dining area is spartan.

sushi express , although a small hole in the wall restaurant, is the best sushi restaurant that we have found.Seating is limited but in the many times that we've been there we only had to wait once for a seat and it was well worth it. The sushi is always fresh and service friendly. My favorites are the tuna sashimi and the las vegas rolls,everything we've tried has been outsstanding. I highly recommend this place to anyone that knows anything about quality sushi..........both thumbs up to Sushi Express:)

Although not the most convenient of places, well worth a trip out. (even if you live very far away) Authentic Sushi, experienced and extremely friendly staff. Salt Lakes dark little sushi secret. Who knew? I did! I followed the owner/chef Tak-san from his day at Sakura Sushi! itsumo osewaninarimasu! A must for sushi lovers - and VERY reasonable!

Pros: Great Sushi, Freindly Staff, Reasonable Prices

The owner & staff are courteous & concerned about your experience. The sushi chefs are knowledgable. The sushi is fresh & tastes great. This restaurant is a gem hidden in a strip mall.

I always saw this little shop as I drove past it almost every day. I wanted to always try it but unsure how it would be. I saw the reviews on citysearch and decided to check it out and to my surprise it was fantastic. The chefs there make you feel welcome and the cleaniness was good. I will go back and I recommend this little surprise to all sushi lovers.

I have been to most of the sushi restraunts in Utah and Sushi Express is by far my favorite. Their fish is always fresh, they have great deals, and their employees are very friendly.

Sushi Express is the best sushi in town!!! Their sushi chef Stacy and waitress Tracy are really hot!! I eat there all the time.

I love sushi express. Their fish is always perfectly fresh, the edamame is delicious, the staff is knowledgable and nice and they have creative, delicious roll specials. Everyone should eat here!
