Editorial Review for Litza's Pizza – by Peter Behle
The Scene
It's cramped (from the parking lot--shared with Hires and Ruby River--to the skinny aisles and small booths), but dating couples and families pack the place most nights. And don't think you'll be relaxing with a glass of wine or a mug of beer--nothing of the sort is offered and no apologies are given.
The Food
Pizza is the main draw here, but it's nothing fancy. Your choice of the usual ingredients served on a perfectly rolled crust with mild sauce and a moderate amount of cheese. Spaghetti also is popular (served with garlic bread and a dinner salad), but the sauce is flat-out sweet. Don't get a chef salad if you want something light--it's loaded with ham, turkey and cheese.

Litza's is by far one of the best pizzas in Utah. True it is a little crowded and bad parking, but that's downtown SLC in general. Crowded in this case is a good thing. Great place to go before a Ute or Jazz game. Italian sausage, pepperoni, and mushrooms, garlic bread, and Hires Root Beer is a great combo. West Valley location has improved tremendously also, with Hires and Litza's under one roof.

pizza tasted ok. service was very slow. The atmosphere is ok but very noisy. This is just ordinary pizza at an ordinary pizza place.
Cons: no parking
